Bell Mobility is a division of Bell Canada that specializes in wireless services. They have more than 5 Million cell phone subscribers across Canada. Bell Mobility utilizes an enterprise billing system to manage the entire customer interface activities from client back-end calling to order management, billing and switch control.
To support the rapid growth in the subscriber base and to provide better customer service, Bell mobility and made a business decision to migrate from the legacy platform to a more scalable Amdocs platform. The various modules that were planned to be implemented were CSM, billing, ANF, POS, inventory control, product catalog, IVR, collections, accounts receivable, FBF bill format, and switch control.
Customer faced several challenges with this major Application migration initiative. Some of the key concerns were:

- Ineffective Processes
- Lack of a strategy to migrate data from the legacy system to the new system
- No Test or Defect Management policies
